Lingrel, 76, died Sunday, March 14, 1993, at the Hardin Memorial Hospital. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force with the rank of major in January 1965. He served in campaigns in North Africa, England and Italy. He won the Silver Star, the Distinguished Flying Cross, a Purple Heart, the Air Medal for Meritorious Achievement with eight oak leaf clusters, two Presidential Unit Citations with oak leaf clusters, two Air Force Commendation medals, the European Medal, the American Theater Medal, the World War II Victory Air Force Longevity ribbon with four Oak Leaf Clusters.

He was a member of the Kenton Elks Lodge No. 157. He is survived by his wife, Iris. He also is survived by two sisters, Jean (Wayne) Hottman of Kenton and Mary Kay (William) of Lancaster; five nieces and two nephews; and numerous greatnieces and great-nephews. The funeral will be at 11 a.m.

Wednesday, March 17, at Price Funeral Home, Kenton, Ohio, with the Rev. Thomas Lyberg officiating. Burial will be at Grove Cemetery. Special services will be held by the Elks at the Elks Lodge of Sorrow at 8 today. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Eva Hardwick Eva V. Hardwick, 73, Lancaster, passed away Monday, March 15, 1993, at LancasterFairfield Community Hospital. She is a member of the Fairfield Church of Christ. She is survived by daughter, Dee Frazier of Lancaster; grandchildren, Ellen Holden of South Miami, and Stephanie and Jonathan Frazier, both of Lancaster; great-grandchildren, Josh and Savanni Frazier, both of Lancaster; brother and sister-inlaw, Jessie and Marlie Hawk of Oklahoma; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Coy C.

Helen Trout Helen M. Trout, 96, Lancaster, passed away Saturday, March 13, 1993, at Lancaster-Fairfield Community Hospital. She was a retired special education teacher at Lancaster City Schools and long-time member of the Lancaster First United Methodist Church. She is survived by a brother, Robert W. Miller of Amarillo, Texas, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph F. Trout. Memorial services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the little chapel of the Lancaster First United Methodist Church, with Dr. Brooks Heck officiating.

Trowbridge, 67, Nelsonville, died Sunday, March 1993, at his residence following an extended illness. He was born in Union Furnace, son of the late Park and Lillia Ash Trowbridge. He is a retired truck driver for Anchor Hocking a graduate of Carbon Hill High School and a member of Lodge No. 57 in Lancaster. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Audrey Harris Trowbridge; two daughters, Deborah Jackson of Fairmont, W.Va., and Lynn L.

Parsons of Cincinnati; three sons, Dennis of Mansfield, Gary of Louisville, and Larry J. of Freemont, 12 grandchildren; and seven greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Park and Lillia Trowbridge; one grandson, Eric Trowbridge; and a brother, William Trowbridge. Clayton Poston Clayton L. Poston, 58, Canal Winchester, formerly of Lancaster, died March 15, 1993. He is a retired barber. He is survived by sons, Darren and Greg Poston of Lancaster and Kurt Poston of Texas; and a daughter, Kathy Bibler of Lancaster. Cremation has taken place, and arrangements were made by the Frank E.

Smith Funeral Home. Kenneth Ruffner Kenneth W. Ruffner, 68, Columbus, died Saturday, March 13, 1993, at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He had been a truck driver with Worthington Industries for more than 20 years and a member of the VFW and Moose Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Edith Ruffner, and a brother, Emerson Ruffner.

Burial will be in Violet Cemetery, Pickerington, where the Baltimore VFW will conduct graveside services. Verl Stout Verl D. Stout, 72, Columbus, died Sunday, March 14, 1993, at Mount Carmel Medical Center. He was born Oct. 28, 1920, in Lancaster, Ohio.

He was a retired owner of Stout Decorators, a veteran of the U.S. Marine World War II, 2nd Marine Division, a member of the American Legion Don Gentile Post No. 532 and the Hilltop Sportsmen's Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Laura Stout. He is survived by his wife, Rita K.
