I man E. Myers, of Columbus will October 13 to 18 inclusive to the eleventh semi-annual convention of the Tri-State Council of Apostolic Ministers. The four day sessions will begin at 10:30 a. m. each day with a worship service and sermons at 12 noon with the exception of Thursday when elders will present sermonettes at the morning session.

Bible study will feature the afternoon session at 2 and on the concluding day, Friday, "Meat in Due Season" will be the topic. Evangelistic services are scheduled each evening at 7:30. Breakfast will be served at 9:30 a. m. and dinner at 4 p.

C. Chadwick, Ohio Agricultural Experiment Station floriculture specialist pomts out. War Production Board Conservation Order No. M231 states that on and after September 12, 1942, no fertilizer manufacturer, dealer, or agent shall deliver any chemical fertilizer containing chemical nitrogen for use on lawns, golf courses, parks, cemeteries, roadsides, or noncommercial plantings of trees, shrubs or flowers and that no person shall use any chemical fertilizer containing chemical nitrogen for any such purpose. This order does not affect the use of organic sources of nitrogen, such as soybean meal mixed fertilizers containing organic nitrogen, or the use of any chemical fertilizer with inorganic nitrogen on hand on the effective date of this order.

Fertilizers available for lawns and ornamental plants will be: organic sources of nitrogen, such as soybean meal; mixed fertilizers containing organic nitrogen; grades without nitrogen, such as 0-14-7; and any inorganic nitrogen or mixed fertilizers containing inorganic nitrogen on hand or obtained from fertilizer dealers at the time of or since the effective date of the conservation order. Maj.Gen. Simon Buckner, commanding officer of the Alaskan defenses, in making the award to Liuet Leow, and 20 other army airmen, said the medals were for "meritorious acts of essential service in making repeated day and night over-water instrument flights during icing conditions in the Western Aleutian area to attack the armed enemy of the TJ.
